Thinking of pressing the button on one of these. I'm 5'10. Should I be looking at a large with a short stem and possibly a Bos Deville up front..how would you build yours if you could do it all again?
I'm same as you and had a large. Was perfect at 160mm with short stem
I'm 6'1 and ride an Xl with a 50mm stem an its perfect.

Im 5'8" and have just bought a med. Looks fantastic. Im going for 160 Pikes i think as Fox 36 are crazy money

I am 5.10 and went for a medium, no regrets!
I specced it as follows
160mm pike RTC3
hand built flow ex 25mm on hope hubs
xt 1x10 with a 40t superstar expander and 32n/w
race face atlas bar (800mm) and stem (50mm)
xt brakes
superstar nano pedals
reverb dropper
currently running huge 2.4 hands dampf
wheels BB and PP headset.
some custom green graphics from slik
its an absolute weapon, only slightly slower than my nomad and more fun on the right stuff 🙂
I'm 5'10" and mine's [s]CG Mini size[/s] a large. (ye olde 26" model though)

My other bike's an SB66 in medium and the measurements are almost identical on the Shan.
