Especially if you use them as a tourer/bike packing chassis. If you have any pictures of them loaded up too that'd be good.
Just thinking of an N+1. I had a RR frame before but never completed the build as something else came along. Still have that itch to scratch
(Also anyone know of anywhere with a Large Duckegg Blue RR in stock?)
Thanks!
Here's my faithful rat. It's now my daily commuter and is equipped with less fancy, but more practical Ortlieb panniers:

Looking good, thanks. Like the winter shot
Liking the winter shot. Proper tyres!
Roadrat's are nice bikes in certain setups but feel horrible with any sort of load on. I rode the silk road on mine in light tour mode, Carradice on the back and two small bags on the front.
I'm not overly strong but it felt like all of my power was going into deflecting the frame rather than forward propulsion.
Dinnae do it.
Retrodirect, there have been quite a few changes to the Roadrat since your model, the last revision included an Ovalform toptube, and the next revision, out any day now, includes a large diam downtube. It's still not really for heavy loading though.
