Seeing as there's been no interest in the sale of my Foes I've decided to treat it to a face lift instead. I'm thinking of getting the frame polished (yes just flicked through my new copy of Dirtand got inspired) Any one done their bike or had it polished professionally? Where? How much?

Bought like that. It was an option on Intense frames. Not sure if they offer it anymore, but they do the "Works" finish which I don't like. GT used to do a lot of Ball Burnished frames years ago. Look ace when all polished up but a bit of a pain if you want to keep it all nice and shiny
Friend of mine had is MX frame anodised silver and it looked like it was polished. And it would be a hell of a lo easier to keep it looking good.

Go to your nearest metal polishers and get a quote.
Did it years ago. Pain in the arse unless its properly ball-burnished. Dulls too quickly unless lacquered & that takes some of the shine off.
