KingdomBike Supreme 650, X0/XTR mix. Very quick and comfy. Not 100% on weight but would guess 22/23 lbs.

What I dream of having?

Anthem 29er with xtr/carbon everything, lightweight but just strong enough not to die on fun stuff. Cost £ridiculous.

What I have?

Not enough room and a bank manager who just doesn't understand...

Njee, there is no way that's 20.4lbs 😉

XTC1 29er - 1x9 - SIDs - Stans on Hope XC hubs - No idea on weight actually, but it certainly feels light!

No saddle or seatpost either, in fact that's actually just the frame/chainset/chain/rear wheel weight!

This is just over 22lbs. Still try to decide to take this or a 26.5lb asr5 to BORS 132k (Weight vs comfort)!

There's something about Schmiken's Kingdom Supreme (second post in this thread) that's just so right. It looks a bit like the last Cotic Soda but with a tapered headtube.

Nothing on their website about the 650b version though. Anyone got any info on this one?

Just got this. No idea on the weight but would guess around 24-26lbs, but planning to lighten it up for enduro racing duties. Lighter tyres for starters and some new pedals.

Kiwijohn: A friend had one of those Axis TT's in the 90's. Brilliant bike - you get anywhere near the pedals and it would leap forwards.

RAGGATIP - Not a prototype, but it is one of the first two made. The frames were initially called Olympic rather than Skyline. Stuart at Pipedream said they changed the name as it was the Olympic year and there were concerns around trademark infringement etc. I think the 16" one is still available at a reduced price...

Pretty standard, upgraded brake levers to MT6 (warranty) as I was having problems with the standard MTS levers pulling to the bars. Not ridden the new brakes yet. She's pretty rapid over the entire journey, think my 26 XTC was faster downhill though. Think it was about 24lb on the shop scale.

Thanks very much! It was actually a custom design job done after trying both the Supreme and the Double9, and then deciding to go for 650. It'll be available shortly (see their BikeBuilder), but if you're interested I'd email Chris direct (chris@kingdombike.com).

Dunno, it may not be far off - look like Roval carbon wheels, and a Cobalt 11 seatpost suggests there's some nice kit on it!

2unfit2ride...why would a scott scale rc not weigh under 20lbs?. Carbon cranks full xo eggbeater 4ti pedals and hope pro 3 tubeless. but hey ho. Its light and i like it. I once had my ibis mojo sl down to 23.5lbs but didnt like how it rode.

Well mainly because my 18" triple butted Ti frame built up single speed with pace RC31's & detailing down to a Ti bottom bracket weighs very nearly 20lbs on my scales 🙁

The one I weighed was over 20lbs stock without pedals, forget what wheels it had though. DT240 on XC717 perhaps 😕

Yours doesn't seem too wide of the mark.

I did weigh my canyon, the scales do work and its 20.5lbs with pedals.

Its the bottom of the range Canyon carbon and i have put on another wheelset roval carbon rims with AM classic hubs with XX cassette, changed brakes to some old formula R1 ones i had and swapped the the bars to a ritchey 620mm superlogic 10 degree, Esi Grips and a Cobalt carbon seatpost and selle italia slr 145 saddle.

To lose 1.5lbs in the Autumn i am putting on new cranks instead of the X9, will save approx 250gms there. Lose the front shifter and front mech around 240gms, maybe if i can get rid of the fork matchmaker lockout about 50gms and the stock chain is heavy so that will be replaced when it wears in the next 3 - 4 months

Also change tyres, will save around 150 - 200 gms changing from current set up to specialised storm or Rocket rons if racing. That Rubena Kartos on the front tyre is far from light. Also nearly forgot i need to add the weight of a chain guide at about 50gms..

My XC race bike. Orange Evo2 from 2003 not a light frame but it has new XTR cranks and XT 9 speed mech controlled by 10 speed thumbies. Wheels are DTSWiss XR350 on A2Z hubs, they weight 1346g. It feels perfect.
[IMG] [/IMG]

9.24kg or 20.38lbs but more weight to loose when I change the M520 pedals and the seat. I'll stop when that is done.

I need to set up the levers and shifter, but she's ready to go....... Pedals to follow.
On two different scales its just a tad under 18 so 18.5 with pedals

so over 20lb with pedals, even taking in your seatpost and tyre change we'll call it 20lb. Think you need new scales

Not mine below but thought i'd include them anyway as they're nice eye candy 😉

24.7 lbs for this Mojo Superlight wi XT and bog standard wheels, but we're building one for someone at the moment wi XTR and SLR's that i expect will come in at 22lbs or under.

Not quite XC race machine but it's perfectly capable to ride round any trail centre so it's in. This Hakkalugi came in at a smidgeon over 18lbs, very surprising as it feels so light and responsive when you're riding it. I want one........

Gareth Montgomeries Team GT Zasker 29'r - 21.8lbs or thereabouts if i remember correctly

I've saved the best for last though....11.72 lbs rigid nae-speed . Beat that if you can.
