A bit older now, a bit dirtier and a few changes. New saddle, carbon bars, bar end, Time pedals and sin of sins a Decathlon stem. I must get some new pics done...

Well the Swift and Rocky Mtn use the same parts - the RM broke.

My SS has (low) risers though I have been considering swapping to flats. With long forks nowadays, risers just tend to make the front end too high otherwise.

Does this fit the bill? It was run with knobblies over the winter.

Generally used as the town bike though.

Stu is that a Blacksheep ? Is that what you were riding in that clip of you at the Dyfi that was doing the rounds a few months back ?
How do you like the Oury lock ons ?

Ah, some of those take me back. I'm off out to the shed to take a picture of my 1992 Trek 8000 with Answer Hyperlite bars.....

Mmmm wide flats

my world cup ss bars are 710 which is nice, although I do miss my salsa carbons......they don't do high speed impacts with tarmac very well though.I really must learn to not ride like a complete nobend. 😳

Yes and yes. 8)

They're OK but I think I'm going to change them for something a bit thinner to match up with everything else i've got. If I've not riden that bike for a week or two they feel a bit odd to start with.

/shameless plug

I have a couple of oversize flat bars spare if anyone's interested. Both 600mm, both black. One with 9 degrees of sweep, one a bit less.

/end shameless plug

Stu - fair play. Loved that WC descent. If you watch the clip again you go past one of my mates mincing on the lime green Genesis . Really like the look of your Mythic, you don't see many of them around at all.
If you flog the Ourys let me know, I fancy trying some 🙂
(e mail rollason73@hotmail.com)

Definately going wide and flat on my new Duster.
Hmmm what to buy.....

Keep the pics coming, theres some right skeletons coming out the closet here !

Charge Duster, Easton EA70s and tiny wee woodman stubbies with the anodising wire brushed off. Now singlespeed and very dirty which looks even better.

The Bianchi that got me back into MTB. Looks comedy angles but it was brilliant fun.

Anyone running FLAT BARS in downhill is going no where except back to squidville were you born! Or for the next lap on the xc trail? Its a fact, punch yourself in the face and wake up, turn the heavy metal up untill your eyes bleed and ears explode. .. . . .!
