preferably attached to a bike!

thinking of getting a brooks saddle for my inbred super commuter/tourer/townbike prior to a tour later this spring/summer

[img] [/img]

and im not sure whether to go for the B17, touring one, or the swift, as the setup on my bike is quite "forward" due to being tall, so not sure the wide back end would be much help

always used a brooks, but cant get on with em now for some strange reason.

the rails need to be made longer, to enable you to slide em back a bit........imho that is.

Seeing them made on the recent BBC documentary 'ride of my life' I apprichiate them better seeing the work that goes into them. They just seem like an anachronism on new bikes. My girlfriend has one on her vintage Dutch bike, If I can work out how to uplaod pictures off my iPhone I will post one.

is that a request, or someone getting tired of seeing my project.
im going to go with the first one, to massage my ego, and because people often seem to wonder about making a road inbred, but then they released the pompetamine...

[img] [/img]

then it got geared, for commuting to work...

[img] [/img]

and then it flat barred, and now its got some midge bars on, but i haven't ridden them yet, so cant tell you how they sit

the tyres are 28c i seem to recall, but i reckon 32's should fit ok.
if you want any specific pics, let me know.

i was thinkign today, the only thing wrong with my inbred as a tourer, is the brake hose routing, which is a bit ugly from the non drive side.
better would be a third cable run under the BB for the brake, and maybe even two stops on the fork, one at the top, one at the bottom, for a cable disk.

mmmm, clean lines

yours looks rather tasty rich, not convinced about the new howies blue [?] paint job though.
