Out of your depth riding
Brilliant! Great to see there's so much amazing stuff in the UK
Right, time to re-dress the balance a bit with all these photo's of Scotchland.
Here's one of the Grande Massiff de Cheshire 😛
In direct line of sight from the camera to my bar end, Winter Hill is 28 miles away, line of sight between camera and the pile of rock to the right of my bike, the Wind Turbine Farm at Ramsbottom is 30 miles.

Stoney, is that heading towards Annat in the last pic?
If you were meaning me then, yup it sure is.
Is it now too late to ride some of this buff Scotland stuff, and if not, can one of you take me out on it in the next few weeks? Have car and excellent tent. Great thread Sanny...
Depends. The snow's here now in some places. I know last year it was the week after bonfire night that we had our final adventure of the year, so it must be about the end of the big mountain season for bikes til the end of February now.
D'oh - time to break out the crampons

Is that the Walna Scar road up from Seathwaite dingus - or somewhere altogether different? Loving the mist tendrils.
No, it's the horrible fireroad climb that takes you up to the top of Càrn Bàn Mòr in the Cairngorms. The weather was pretty dramatic that day.
