Thinking about a change from the 29er, although I do enjoy riding it a lot. Would be interested in seeing what folk are riding in B+ bikes, or bikes that will take either 29 or B+

Ideally slack ish 120/140 fork ok for lakes and trails riding with a bit of bikepacking Santa Cruz Chameleon looks ace but a bit spendy for my tight scottish routes!

I dont read bike mags much any more so a bit out of the loop. Whats good?

Sonder Transmitter? I don't own one but they seem well regarded on here and by others.

Genesis Tarn? Bought as the Tarn 10 and have swapped some bits, but am always surprised how much speed it picks up downhill.

Absolutely LOVE my Mondraker Vantage R+

Mondy

Didn't like the plus Scott Scale that I had - the Mondraker is much superior bike IMHO

I've been riding a Trek Stache for the past month and it's blown me away. Super comfy on long rides and a real hoot downhill, way more fun to ride than I expected.

It's hard to say, but It's maybe a little more fun with the +

Normally use 29er wheels when it's muddy and B+ the rest of the time.

I've not ridden it with + wheels for a while but I re fitted them yesterday so if it pisses down for the next month you can blame me.

This is really my daughters but I ride it more than she does. It’s a Medium Solaris Max. I’d like a large to go with it 🙂 Ride it loads in the local woods, it’s an absolute blast. Also run it 29 in the winter but I much prefer it on the chubbies.

Trek Stache. 29+, 29 or 650b+. I prefer 29+ to 650b+, it's just so much fun to ride, and massively more capable than a bike that looks like it's only for total nichemongers. It's my winter bike and I use it in the Dark and White Peak, but a mate of mine has taken it up Helvellyn twice and taken it down Dollywagon and it just lapped it up.

Mine's been upgraded with a 40mm stem and 780mm bar, which really sorts it out.

I've got one of these - Sonder Transmitter (photo not mine) and it gets ridden far more than my newer full sus. My favourite mountain bike in over 20 years (and there's been a few!)

Sonder Transmitter

Just bought a whyte 905, off the back of a demo when I smashed all my PRs on a route I often do. To be fair the cotic solaris that I also demo’d (in chubby mode) was also excellent, but out of stock and waiting for the new longer reach version to be announced I believe.

Misses most of the criteria but it is a b+ 🙂 tbh I've only ridden it two short times but I just love my other bike too much 29er+ or fat fronted Jones 29er

Another bouncy stooge...my 4th one so far...this one is a keeper.

Pic from my 'longer than usual' commute this morning.

Another pic from a recent Torridon trip before I changed from the Jones bars to the Stooge Moto bars. Still undecided on which bars are better.

Another pic of my Fastforward now it's back in + mode.

I'd forgotten how much fun it is setup like this.

Just makes me want to pop off every root, bump or rock.

Love my 909…

Love mine too. Went from a FS 29er and the grip on the 909 with 2.8" tyres is game changing. A bike that's making me smile every ride. Can't beat that imo.

Swift, B+ at the moment, have a 29r wheelset for different set of riding.

Really enjoy it, plenty miles over last few days around Aviemore, then a long trip home, still felt good.

If I could easily post up pics, I would!

Hi all, thanks for pics good to see what is out there. Rode the Jennride at the weekend and saw a good variety of bikes form 26 to 29+ and everything in between.

Still enjoyed riding my 29er but its at the point of needing a good bit of attention or replacement ,im erring in that direction 🙂

Traction climbing or in the corners is amazing. It takes a lot to get the rear slipping when climbing.
