just ordered an extra firm spring for my fox 36 vans but it doesn't have a plastic sleeve on. I thought that they were all meant to have one on to stop any knocking?

thought about a 700c inner tube over it. just a bit unsure if the fox springs were meant to come with em on or not..

My Lyric 170 springs don't have them. Pikes do though. horses for courses. If your current spring has one, then just swap it over? If not, don't. simples...
