I have a dilemma I need help with!
I currently own a very nice Scott CR1 carbon road bike, but I'm a mountain biker and was wondering whether selling the Scott and putting the money towards a Cotic >X< and a few more rugged components would be a wise move? I can move a lot of the gear off the Scott onto a CX bike (such as the 105 derailleurs). I think the Cotic will probably be more versatile, as it can be used for road/offroad/touring/cx racing etc, wheras the Scott can only be used on the road. However it just seems a shame to get rid of such a lovely frame. Honest opinions required please!

The only way is to have a cross bike AND a road bike!
Trying to work this one out myself at the moment...
