Hi all
Should i sell my Prophet to fund a new Ti frame?? At the moment i have:
69er SS
Whyte 19 Carb geared.
Cannondale Prophet custom spec.
I've got all the bits to build a new 29er and will be running it SS.
Thinking of one of these http://www.lynskeyperformance.com/a/pages/2009-products/mountain-bikes---lynskey-performance/titanium-mountain-bike---houseblend---ridgeline-29.php
I haven't used the Prophet for months and have ridden it more than 10times in total (owned about 8 months) But will i miss it when its gone??
Oh yes the spec on the Prophet is 2008 White medium
Mazzochi 55's ETA
RP23
DT swiss 5.1's with Hope Pro2's
XT Chainset set up as single ring with Blackspire chain guard.
Ultegra rear mech
XT shifters
XT brakes
Big earl bar and stem.
So if you'd be interested in helping me out ...
get rid of it if you cant be arsed to ride the thing
Yes you will miss the prophet, and yes you should get a ti 29er.
Hope that helps 😉
(if your 69er is a trek and you want to shift that instead to avoid too much overlap i know someone who might be interested...)
Cheers Rex for the offer yea its a 69er but i'm a bit tied to it until the end of the Transwales event.
Id want about £1200 for the prophet to cover the new frame price which i think its pretty cheap with the spec and she is mint 😀
Look out for the Prophet in the classifieds soon!
Going to go for it on Monday and order the frame. 😀
Order placed for my frame so ill soon be joining the ti 29er crowd 😀
Can see it being the only bike i ride from now on!
Fingers crossed the Prophet sells 🙄
