[Closed] Should I run a Shimano 10 speed direction specific chain on a sunrace cassette

As above really. I’ll be using a generic narrow/wide chainring and sunrace cassette. Will a Shimano directional chain actually be worse than the equivalent kmc non-directional offering in terms of shifting?

Should be fine. I ran a Shimano directional chain on an SRAM cassette. I think I even ran it the wrong way as I didn't realise that it was directional.

I'm pretty sure that is the set up I'm using and it seems fine, I've got a 10 speed Sunrace cassette and a tiagra chain (I think it is direction specific?)
