House to myself today, do I;

a) do the housework
b) go to the gym
c) build a singlespeed for the pile of bits in the garrage to go with my winter beard.
d) fit some new brakes to her bike with lever that she can actualy reach
e) fix her car for her
f) fix my car

Surely time to all of the above if you weren't sat in front of your computer asking our advice 😉

If you do A ,E and D you won't need to do F (she will let you borrow her car) or B .Then if you have any energy left you can do C. 🙂

Ziggy says there's a 98.4% chance of option E resulting in a happy ending.

E, C, A in that order....

E and A should earn you sufficient brownie points to go ride the results of C tomorrow Unless she's some sort of dragon....

depending on the brakes, D can easily be achieved by bending the levers slightly. Maximum brownie points vs. effort required there

Are brownie points on offer? That could make all the difference.

lol, she bought a gian hybrid/commuter/BSO thingy that has horribly plastic v-brakes attached to huge 80's motorbike style cantilever levers, resulting in abysmal stopping power. I promised I'd stick my old avid single digits on there, theyre not girlie specific, but will be a million times better.

Her car needs a new seat release catch (common fault on previous shape fiestas) and some of the black plastic panneling arround the doors needs epoxying back into place.

Have looked into C and determined I needed a 140mm rotor to make my brakes fit the frame, so naturaly had to order 2 pimpy lightweight red ones..........................
My car needs new rear brake cylinders
