Katie's riding with a Camelbak Solstice lowrider pack.  A mountain morph pump is really too long to fit comfortably.   Are there any good alternatives that are a bit shorter?

The mini-morph is a great road pump but takes an age to inflate an mtb tyre.

Relevant as I just bought a Mountain Morph and it's too big for my pack!

Was going to send it back and try a Mini Morph but I'll hold off if someone knows a better option.

In this scenario I have just let the top of the pump stick out of the bag. It could aldo be secured with a har band or something.

Small pumps suck the boabie.

Agreed. The mountain morph is great and I'll always have one in my pack.

and that's the short term answer. IMV CO2 cannisters are expensive and a bit of an enviro disaster but we've got a stack someone gave us when they emigrated.  They'll probably last few years.

Is there really nothing that's 'nearly as good as a MM but 2/3 the length?.  Can be fat, just not long (and must have tube)

I use the Mountain Morph, just use it with bracket mounted to the frame (gravel bike) or in my pack (MTB). But do sometimes want a quick blast on the MTB (particularly the SS) and don't want to take a pack so want something smaller. Have used the wife's mini morph a couple of times and it's pretty good to be fair. Takes a bit more sweat getting the volume into MTB tyres, but does eventually get there, and will pack into a hip-pack or bum bag.

Big Hitter KPIs

Not a chance reading (or even acknowledging) the OP is one of those.

Quite alright, it's all part of my big hitter training, i was aiming for my "start an argument with no relevance to the OP in a seemingly innocuous thread" badge.

Is ruined it now by not frothing haven't I? I'm never going to get to post in one of the [s]politics[/s] mud slinging threads am I?

Oh on an aside i can't help the op. All mini mini pumps are rubbish. All good mini pumps aren't very mini at all.

Is the Solstice not the same as the Skyline? If so I get a mountain morph in my Skyline without to much hassle.

Can't say I'm a huge fan of the pack though but that's a different story.

Frame brackets ftw. No boabies involved

I've been squeezing a Mountain Morph into a Skyline for a couple of years,  it's worn a hole in the pack, repaired with gaffer tape. Just another niggle with the pack

i use the road morph ( mini morph? ). i don't know what you think is wrong with it TBH. it requires more pumps to achieve the same volume but the action is lighter than the MM. have no problems with even plus tyres.

Frame brackets ftw

Anyone know of a bottle cage side-mount bracket that fits the Mountain Morph?  There's a few around, for Topeak Peak DX?  "Magideal" on amazon? Lezyne HV?

Bracket for a mountain morph here.  Not a fan of strapping stuff to the bike myself - always found when I did come to try and use it the mud/salt/water had taken its toll

cheers Simon, I'd seen that, but I want the offset job so it sits next to the bottle cage.

Bought a Mountain DA instead. Seems decent so far.
