Any shorties ride a Orbea Occam LT? I'm right on the boundary of Small and Medium at 166cm and wondering whether or not to go for a small or medium.

Also anybody know the difference in weight between a aluminum and carbon frame?

Thanks

I am 181 and ride a large but worth you knowing the distance between saddle and bars is short due to a steep seat tube angle.  You may want to go for the medium unless you have stumpy arms as well.   My large Alu LT H20 is 32lb stock.

According to the size guide, you're 1cm taller than the max for small, and 6cm taller than the min for medium.

That would suggest medium, but looking at the reach and ETT that's a long bike for your 5'5".

Look at the seat tube and dropper lengths too. The small has a 405mm tube and 150mm dropper, that's almost certainly going to be too long. The dropper might take travel reducing shims, or you might need to replace with a shorter one or a low-stack one like OneUp.

Thanks All. I'm steering more towards the medium. Looking at the numbers they dont look that different.
