No but yes, I tried some of these endura ones at the weekend.

Weren't as impressive as I was expecting, still felt the need to to stand up on a few down hills, change position now and again. But it was a 5 hour ride and better than nothing.

The padding feels massive, nappy like probably cos I'm not used to it, and a bit tight round my (skinny) legs.

I have been using the girlie version of these:

They are quite minimalist but have worn them for all day rides and not had any problems. I find that the bulkier the liner the more uncomfortable they are.

I've got a pair of the DHBs. I just wore them tonight and the fit is a little basic but they do the job well under my waterproof 3/4 length shorts. They are like trunk style boxers with a pad. Mine ripped a 1 inch long hole between the fabric and the elasticated waste band when I pulled them on one day. Might be my fat arse to blame but no boxers or other shorts do that.

There are 80 reviews on the Wiggle site. My favourite is this one:
"I have never felt so protected and looked after before. I now feel like my bottom and man parts are cared for. These shorts totally add a new dimension to biking. I love you dhb Earnley Padded Under Short, and know you love me too." Ahh... lovely!

Also notable:
"As an ex-rower,I needed some padding under my lycra, and these are perfect." (?)

See whether you can read more than five pages of reviews without feeling a little queasy.

Thay are a small fit and after they have been washed a few times they don't offer much padding at all. But they are more effective than just lycra shorts.

I've got both the DHB amd Enduras and they're OK but appear to chafe more than lycra (they're both coolmax).
My favorites are lycra Endura clic-fast line, which are much better over a long time although the leg grippers feel very tight to begin with.
Sometimes I use bib shorts underneath instead but then my shorts slide down them.

I've some sugoi ones - ricaro I think - they're nice enough. Like std lycra shorts but the material is quite porous & thinnish. The pad seems fine to me.
