Due to my rugby lad thighs i have to wear an XXL bib short with most brands, but despite being 5'10" i only have 29" legs, so i find a lot of bib shorts are just too long and bottom of short sits in fold of knee. (bought a pair of the new Rapha with the side pockets recently and they were awful and went back)

I have a number of 100 mile plus rides and Torino-Nice coming up and looking for some shorts for long days in the saddle.

Always worn Sportful Total Comfort bibs, but they are worn out and have always just sat above knee.

Are there any particular brands that do a short leg length with a quality chamois?

I have seen Endura do bib where you can choose width of chamois and leg length, anyone tried these?

Drop Galibier.cc a line. I find their shorts are always a little shorter in the leg than most. Not massively mind. They are really quick to reply to emails (normally) and I have always found them very helpful.

They are my go to shorts for any riding, 40 miles to 100+ and I have always found them very comfortable. Their new chamois is pretty good too. A small improvement on something that was already pretty good anyway.

I've pretty big thighs (due to rugby in my youth) and am 5'11". I'm currently using Endura bibs in size L which reach about halfway down my thighs. I think the model is Hyperon, it's got the lighter/lightest chamois as I find the heavier/thicker chamois are too sweaty for me.

I just bought some half price Rapha Pro Team (regular leg) due to similar issues (5'10" and 29" also) and they sit really well on my powerlifter legs, so much so that I bought another pair (£95 from £190).  They sit a bit higher above the knee than other previous XXL shorts I've owned.

I'm not sure about other Rapha shorts though; I've never had any.

I have this issue as well. Best I've found are Rapha lightweight summer shorts which were available in a short leg version.

Not sure if they still do them though.

Love my Endura FS260 Pro SL bibs which are available in 2 lengths, I order the regular length (which are short in length), all available in different pad widths.

I usually buy the small....which come up small, I'm 5'3", 28 waist

Try the Planet-X Clubman/Clubman Light, brilliant for the price. Order a couple of sizes to try, I found that the leg is quite generous and went down a size from "normal"
