Surly chainring & Shimano crankset, I measure the combined ring & spider thickness as just over 5mm. Can you advise if the ID short set, as sold by Charlie The Bikemonger [url= http://www.charliethebikemonger.com/userimages/procart4.htm ]here[/url], will be OK (listed as 6.5mm).
