You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
We're probably taking the boat through the Caledonian canal this year. I can't take a whole day away from the family, so I'm looking for an hour or two worth of riding which I can do from the side of the canal. We'll be heading form Fort Bill to Loch Ness and back, so anything along that stretch.
I'll only have the hardtail with me and I'll be on my own, so nothing crazy 🙂
Also, apart from along the canal tow path, any good family cycling loops? Landrover tracks/non techy singletrack? 7 and 9 yo on Islabikes.
Cheers STW
You can do a loop of Loch Oich on the Great Glen Way and NCN78.
NCN78 along Loch Oich would also be great for the kids. They're currently setting up a railway "museum" at the south end.
The GGW north of Gairlochy has a couple of nice wooded sections with lovely picnic areas down at the lochside.
Super, thanks scotroutes, I'll check those out 🙂
