As per the title really - I've signed up to the scheme this year, I can't see anything I fancy in Halfords so I was wondering if anyone had had any success with their friendly local store / favorite small online retailer.

No anti-c2w scorn please.

Halfords charge shops quite a high commission, so you might find it hard to get what you want.

I used my Halfords C2W vouchers at Leisure Lakes a couple of years ago.
You won't get any reductions from RRP though, as Halfords take a percentage from the retailer.

Twelve50 in Frodsham.
Leisure Lakes, in various places.
Halfords themselves will also source loads of stuff if you ring the telephone helpline.

The main problem is I don't really know what I want.

None of the shops above have anything that make me go "wow". Anywhere else?

Coincidently, one of the MTBers at work got one of those from Leisure Lakes on the Halfords scheme. Loves it, and as he was happy to get it without testing it first had it delivered. That may have cost an extra 15 quid.

if you speak to the Halfords c2w scheme team and ask enough they will send you a spreadsheet with all non halfords shops etc that take their vouchers.
