looking to buy a new pair of flat shoes would be greatful of your views
Teva Links are ace but I think I might be getting a pair of 5:10 Freerider Pros next time.
Love my Teva Links comfy as a pair of normal trainers and don't look like "special shoes", grippy but with the ability to change feet position!
lovin my shimano AM41's...
having clean laces after mucky rides still makes me smile.
(guess i'm easy to please...)
OK in a nutshell...
5 10 impacts = work well but bit bulky (and I'm SURE mine shrunk to the point where I couldn't fit in them anymore and had to sell them).
5 10 freeriders = really great, work well, comfy, durable and only downside is they take a while to dry out.
Shimano AM41 = comfy, light, work well but sole got torn up really quickly by my Nano pedals (reasomably sharp pins) and the upper perished - letting the padding esacpe.
Just picked up some cheap Duffs off CRC with sticky soles, keen to try them out riding.
Love my Shimano. Loved the E-America skate shoes I pressed into service. Even my Adidas classics are actually pretty good.
thanks for your views
5 10 impacts still have the best sole for flat pedals, but have a few other problems
The sam hills sort out most of the problems with the basic impacts.
Anyone who thinks the teeva links look less "special" than 5 10 impacts has fried their neurons on acid trips,
