My old shoes - Specialized Tahoe we’re getting a bit old so I sent for a couple of new ones to try.
Sidi Dragon
Shimano XC7
I thought out of the two the Sidi were probably best so popped the cleats on them and went for a couple of rides last week.
My feet ached like a bugger so after the first ride I moved the cleats forward and wore them loser on the second time I went out, still not great but a bit better than the first time.
I’ve not yet sent the XC7 back and wonder if they will be any better than the Sidi?
I’m mainly a roadie and wear Shimano and NW shoes which are okay so used to carbon soles.
The Sidi and the Shimano are the right size, I’m just not sure on the comfort if that makes sense.
What I don’t want to do is wear the XC7 out and then be stuck with two pairs that are uncomfortable. I’m wondering if I would persevere with the Sidi?
