I have a pair of shoes that the BOA has come out of. The BOA was glued and stitched into the shoe but given that they've done lots of miles and are old, the Plastic base of the BOA has sadly failed.
I'd like to get them repaired but can't find anybody that can stitch the replacement BOA that I've been sent into the leather of the shoe, feedback I'm getting is that needles won't go through the plastic of the BOA.
Do you lot know of anybody that could repair?
The cobblers near us will tackle most jobs with their super tough machine. Shoes, deck chairs, leather stuff, etc.
Facebook link below in case you are near. Thompson's are national and may be able to but in general cobblers are pretty handy at this stuff.

could you drill some tiny holes and/or epoxy it on?
