After being happy with shockwiz help on rp23 on my sultan last year it was a shame when no more spares meant tf said shock was dead! Bought a used pushed rp23 which has been great but now strapped on shockwiz which keeps telling me to take out more air - looks like I am sagging at approx 50% dynamic which seems wrong? High and low speed compression are off too but can not adjust those and maybe having the correct sag will help ?

Could it be the calibration is wrong or that pushed shocks are not shockwizable ? Any thoughts gratefully accepted.

And for this just get out and ride thoughts ....I do ... in fact fettling the shock makes the riding and shed work more interesting ..

cheers

Maybe the tune just isn't suited to your bike. Which ride profile are you using? What terrain are you tuning for? I've stopped trying to shockwiz the entire ride, but focus on the stuff where I want the shock to be optimized.

There's a great thread about it on mtbr where a few guys from here also contribute. I think you'll get a better technical response there rather than here.

I'm guessing the tune might be wrong.  PUSH'ed RP23s are excellent IME but the whole point is that they are shimmed/tuned for your bike suspension characteristics and rider weight (rather than being a 'one size doensn't fit any very well).

I know someone who shockwizzed a RockShox shock and needed it tweaked as the stock tune wasn't right. Said it was a world apart when done.

Can you find out what bike/rider your shock came from and ask TFTuned for some advice?
