Just looking through various sites, and it seems there are some good deals on shocks. Can anyone recommend a good upgrade shock for the bike above currently has monarch RT3, and what tune should I be looking for many thanks..

Off-hand I'd be tempted to contact Whyte/ATB and see what tune the 2014 fox shock (off-hand a CTD, with boost valve) will come with in the "Works" editions. Or you could try talking to some suspension specialists. I talked through new shocks/tuning with TF-tuned when buying for my prophet.
Though I think they may not appreciate giving advise that you then use to purchase a shock from elsewhere.
