Is it me being a bit thick or would it not be a good idea for companies like Mojo or TFTuned to offer a service plan? Rider pays £10 a month and can send off for up to two services. Does anyone offer this kind of thing already?
I've seen service plans for cars. Why not shocks?
sounds reasonable, also a point of contact or maybe a 'tuning' plan built in too?
just put your £10 a month into a piggy bank?
But I can see value in it if it was paired with some kind of extended warranty - ie they service your fork/shock and see it is in good enough condition. You take out a warranty and as part of it you get 1 service included (or 2 if you pay more) and any failures will also be covered.
This would have to exlude crash damage, you snapping off brake mounts - just failures of hydraulic/air spring parts are covered.
But then again - any failure in those areas is normally fixed as a result of a service.
Sounds like a good idea.
