Hey all,

I was out on my 2010 stumpy fsr today and noticed that the rear shock is clicking on even the slightest compression. I checked the mounts and it seems pretty sturdy and not moving around when I pull on it but definately makes a noise when compressing that it didn't used to make.

Is the shock damaged in some way or is it something that a shock service would sort out?

Cheers for any advice!

What kind of shock is it and how did you check the bushes?

Hard to say from the info provided but if it's a new bike have the shop you bought it from take a look, if they say it's OK but the noise persists have a shop you didn't buy it from take a look 😀

Also google the year and make of the shock and add in words like problem, odd noise etc, see if anyone else has had similar issues!

Basically I have no idea 😯 good luck!

Yeah it is a fox triad from a 2010 stumpy. I havent checked anything internal, just looked at how it mounts and its not making the noise where it bolts on. I will try take it to the shop to get checked just a pain cos its miles away!
