This seems to have slipped out without much fanfare.
A lot of it seems to be filmed 18months ago  or more, but there's some amazing segments.

Not sure the voiceover or music add much though - the rough edit style of a Slice of British Pie did more for me personally.
Still great to get some amazing and familiar riders and spots though!

I've just watched this ... terrific little film.  I liked the music and voice-over personally. Great stuff 👍

It's awfully twee. Not a patch on the energy of the Caldwell stuff IMO.

The voice over is awful, cringeworthy. I think Rob is much better doing spontaneous commentary. The music insipid.

Visually it's pretty good at least.

Agreed, but it's worth seeing past that to be honest - there are some good segments

Watched this at Sheffield film Fest.
What a load of rubbish.
Warners voice over is cringe.
No connection with the riders just loads of random shots bouncing from one venue to another.
Shame, I was looking forward to it too

As above. All nicely shot but the voice over and endless schralping just didn't work for me. But then I can't imagine that a late 40s chap who values tea over all other drinks is who Red Bull are aiming their marketing at.

I watched it with the sound off or turned down low and really enjoyed it. Reminded me of Roam from years back.

Don't freak out Grandad but Roam is 18 years old.

It's too long to bounce around between a bunch of short clips without a more coherent narrative to pin it together than a vague seasons thing. Voice over is irritating and the music clashes with the action. And it's just a bit boring.

Who are the riders, why should I care, why are multiple intercut unrelated bits strung together and why do we keep getting lingering shots of the beach?

The camera work is good though.

Less than the sum of its parts. For me it was trying to be a uk lifecycle but Rob Warner was the wrong voice IMO, script wasn’t great but I think made worse but the delivery.

I enjoyed it, but do have a couple of friends (and local riding locations) in it.

their is another UK MTB film just released called Ragamuffins. It is so inspired my Roam that it uses some of the same sound track.

Just watched shires. I enjoyed it. Didn’t find it half as irritating as the posters above.

Watched it yesterday, the riding was good and the cinematography excellent. But the music and voiceover definitely detracted from the overall film, just didn’t fit together.

Watched it yesterday. It just didn't work for me. Too long and the voice over was like a children's film. Jack went out on his bike etc....

Ragamuffins on the other hand was excellent.

I really like Ragamuffins, it feels a bit like a project where someone's decided to remake Roam in the UK and I mean that in a good way.

Shires, on the other hand, is like one of those really nice houses that someone has unaccountably ruined with awful, grating wallpaper and a hideous extension. I find Rob Warner pretty much unlistenable.

Live, Laugh, Love Mural = 'Sends, Shreds, Shralps' above the fake marble fireplace surround.

Oddly I found the visual production more annoying than the RW voiceover (bad in a good way imo) and music, it just looks like a slick overly long advert. Which is what it is. For a revolting drink that you can smell from the other side of the road when someone opens a can of the foul liquid.

I liked shires too, a lot of the locations looked familiar but couldn't place them.
Revs was easy though
