i was recently dignosed with osteopenia as a result of the meds i take for crohns disease and was wondering about purchasing a set of leg guards to save me any unnecsesary damage i would do if i got caught with a pedal or something on my shin or legs.osteopenia causes brittle bones so greater chance of breaking something if i get whacked.any1 any suggestions as to what might suit me.i mostly do xc over the hils and fire trails and get up to carron valley a bit, cheers

Poc's Bone armour is good if pedalling a lot at there is a hinge between the knee and shin armour so you can bend your leg.

661 veggie shins with kyle strait knee pads is a good combo. I quite like 661 4x4 for lightweight protection, might not be enough for you, though.
