My left XTR trail pedal started to squeak so I decided to take it apart and give it a grease only to find that the nut to the right of the second 3 in the [url= http://techdocs.shimano.com/media/techdocs/content/cycle/EV/bikecomponents/PD/EV-PD-M985-3070_v1_m56577569830713903.pdf ]diagram[/url] has been spilt in to 3 parts.
Has anyone heard of this happening before? I have sent the pedals back to hopefully get a warranty replacement.
