I want to convert my Shimano XTR SL M980 front shifter to work with my Specialized dropper post.
I've seen lots of videos for XT and Saint shifters, but has anybody on here actually done it to a M980 XTR shifter?
If so, how hard and is it any different to the other shifters?

Not done it but had one I bought pre-converted which worked really well with my Thomson post.

I'd imagine if you use the XT vid as a guide the XTR will be very similar
