You know the funny ones with three sets of chainring bolts, anyone have a set and know the bcd of the outer and middle ring?
I want to get a scuffed up set and do the Jones conversion to singlespeed cranks giving them a nice polished finish..

These ones

I've done the chop and polish to an old set and it turned out quite well.

Huh? Really? What odd sizes.. Whats the chance of getting rings in those BCD's? Handg on is the inner 104 not 102? That would make sense...

No, it is 102, thanks Shimano. I ended up getting a Black Spire chanring. They are not easy to get hold of - especially non-ramped ones...

as sam says, the reason i sold them was due to the poor choice of chainring sizes.
those BCD are special for that version of XTR.
i run 24T/36T duel setup and you can't get them in those BCD.
PITA!

Pretty sure these come in non-ramped or pinned

104 would make sense but it is 102mm. XTR doesn't have to make sense...

Middleburn and Blackspire do replacement rings, but only in 22/32/42 AFAIK. Highpath Engineering do custom rings, for more-than-genuine-XTR money though.

If anyone has a spare non drive side I'd be interested in it 🙂

Oh and Boone rings are great but next to impossible to get at the moment by all accounts 🙁
