Is it worth the £67 to buy the XT Ice Tec rotors to go with my new XT brakes? Have people that use them noticed any improvements?

I've got XTR Ice Tech rotors, I first used them with some old dodgy Magura Marta brakes and they improved the performance of the brakes noticeably compared to the Magura wavey rotors, I'm talking a big improvement. Of course, it's entirely possible that other rotors might have made the same improvement.
However, using them at the moment with my new XT brakeset and because these new brakes are so friggin good, I can't tell any difference in performance over other rotors I've used (Hope and older Shimano). These brakes themselves are just so bloody good.

If you'd spend a similar amount on Hope floating discs then this should be a no brainer as they perform better, stay true and at a competitive weight.
