[Closed] Shimano XC50N - patch for covering cleat area?

As per title really - on the instructions it shows a patch that goes under the inner sole and covers the area where the cleat bolts screw in, but there aren't any in the box?

Should there be be? or is it just a generic instruction sheet and this doesn't apply to this model of shoe?

These are my first SPD shoes, so don't know the routine.

IIRC they should be included with the shoes but I don't usually bother and even when I have, I've just used gaffa tape. I wouldn't really worry about it though.

XC50N's don't need the patch they are already sealed!
