So, I made the switch to Di2 on the new road bike......

I’m not sure if it’s in my head, but the left shifter paddle will only shift to the small chainring if I press the down shift paddle at the top - if I press it further down nothing happens. It also seems to need a good press!

Is this normal?

The right hand shifter utilises the whole of the up/down shift padddles.

Clipped my bars last night(narrow cycle path) and wondering if I’ve slightly damaged the shifter?

Are you saying you need to press a specific part of one of the paddles? If so that’s not right, all of mine only need a light press anywhere on any of the paddles.

Just checked mine and I can press either button anywhere and it works fine.

Yeah - the lower bit of the left downshift paddle does nothing.

I tried to convince myself that you’d never down shift to a smaller chainring when riding in the drops!

Do the etube diagnostic on the shifter, it'll flag up a fault if there is one. Did you update to the latest software?
