Shimano to Hope mount confusion

Does anyone know how I can tell what type of mount I currently have on my shifter-brakes? It’s an M8000 XT 11 speed shifter, on a Tech 3 lever. Google suggests it’s an I-spec II or B (is that the same thing).

Planning to replace the whole drivetrain with Linkglide after too many years of the Levo eating normal cassettes. Linkglide XT comes in I-Spec EV as far as I can see. Will that fit or do I need to buy something else?

Never bothered with this on a bike I’ve built up myself, always been fine with having separate clamps for everything! But looking at the bars now, I’d struggle to fit the dropper, Levo remote and brake without conjoining the dropper and brake mounts, so I see why my LBS did it.

I spec b would bolt direct to tech3, if it's I spec ll it will be on an adapter between shifter and lever, I spec ev will fit that adapter too, they re-designed the adapter when ev came out but it works for both ispec ll & EV allowing side to side and angle adjustment

Thank you! There is what looks like an adaptor on there and I recall my LBS saying about waiting for some mounts to come from Hope. So the original I-spec II mount also works with I-spec EV?

The I-spec ll mount works fine with EV shifters, I ran it like that for a while, the newer adapter hbsp385r is more machined out to give more range of movement to match the range of the Shimano current set up, so it's better but not really a necessity, if you've got your current shifter in the perfect position then the EV shifter should do the same.
