What's the BB model number?

SM - BBR60. Does that make a difference to the above?

The BBt59-3 (my first link) is for bbr60
A much cheaper version. I bought one by mistake but then found it fitted the Ultegra cups on my road bike.
If it's for xt/ultegra BB. The TL-FC41 for the DM chainrings also functions as a BB tool adapter.
2 tools for one if you need one. Otherwise go for a park as above.
Wiggle have a a Lifeline one too https://www.wiggle.com/p/lifeline-pro-bb-removal-tool-16-41-bbr60 https://www.wiggle.com/p/lifeline-pro-bb-removal-tool-16-41-bbr60
Just out of interest, I have a Tiagra bb to fit. The only tool I have is the one I've used for Deore bbs; any idea if this will work?
Thanks Pjay I ordered the Pro version of the lifeline one, essentially cause it’s half price and I’ll likely only use it once. Annoygly the super cheap lifeline BB I bought as a replacement (it’s for the turbo bike so no expensive BB wanted) comes with its own non shimano tool. I’d better keep that somewhere safe.
Yes the Deore tool fits the Tiagra BBs
For threaded BSA BBs, Shimano have 3 different cup sizes so you need three different tools
BB-RS500 Tiagra//Deore/Saint - 44mm OD 16-notch cup
SM-R60 Ultegra/XT - 41mm OD 16-notch cup
BB-R9100 Dura Ace/XTR - 39mm OD 16-notch cup
chrisdw makes a good point about the XT/Ultegra Tool also being able to fit Shimano Direct Mount Chainrings but only if the tool is go through (for the axle) like the one he mentioned TL-FC41.
This is a mess. Shimano are a shadow of the market leader they once were.
@cerrado-tu-ruido that's really useful, thank you, it is starting to get a tad complicated.
