I'm too lazy to go out to the shed and try this without asking if someone else has tried:
I have a sram 10-42 11 speed cassette which I know won't fit a shimano cassette body because of the 10 tooth sprocket. BUT is the rest of the spline the same? My idea is to use the sram cassette except the last (two) cog(s) which will be Shimano 11 to hold it all on.
