I've rounded off my shimano slx lever housing bolt while refitting the cover. Not the bleed port bolt. What do I do now, I need to check the reservoir and can't get in!
It's an m3 bolt according to this,could I use any m3?
Provided it's a similar length, and you can get the old one out, yes. I'd probably recommend using a stainless one if possible though, it's in a recess that ends up holding water, so cheapies could end up a rusty mess.Google your local engineering suppliers, or stainless fabricators, mine sells things like that for about 20p.
Cheers, I'll have to try and get the bugger out to see how long it is. Not sure how though, maybe have to drill it out
