Just got a Saint shifter from CRC, boxed - came with a full length of outer cable, end caps, and spare end caps and seals for running it with non-continuous outers.
Don't think I've ever had all that included witha shifter before - or is it the norm, and I've just been buying cheap OEM stuff for so long?

That's normal for non OEM stuff.
Same here with my recent Zee shifter from Merlin - Hooray for extra stuff you didnt expect!
I bought a set of XT shifters from Merlin a couple of weeks ago and they came with the pre-cut outers plus caps and seals which was a bonus. I had just bought a complete XT cable kit, so could of saved myself £15 if I had known, at least I now have a spare set.
