I have a i-spec 2 (i think) shimano xt shifter but i'm not overly fond of how it fits to my magura brakes. Are there any after market converters to change it to a bar mount?
But at that price I'd buy a new shifter with the bar clamp.
Cheers, does seem a little steep that when shifters aren't that much more. Anyone have any need for an i-spec shifter then? (stealth ad)
Welll...I currently have a 13 month old XT bar mount shifter, which I'm considering swapping for an I-spec model soon when I do a bike strip-down prior to installing a new drivetrain (I didn't have compatible brake levers when I initially built up the bike in Dec 2017).
Full disclosure: this thread from last week. I've since installed the new screws and it all seems fine. If your shifter is fully I-spec-II compatible and you think you might be up for a swap in, say, March, send me a PM.
