Good morning.

Apparently no such thing as a silly question...

Our bikes have Saint m820 and Zee m640.

About to buy some spare brake pads...

So...do normal pads simply click into the finned carriers on the Saints or do I need to buy finned pads?

Thanks...

Normal pads will fit in the calipers without the fins, you can use both types.

If you are a heavy rider and/or brake dragger, then consider the finned pads otherwise probably not worth the extra dosh. Personally I am both but still prefer the brake authority ceramic pads any way to the shimano oem pads of either variety (not a cheap alternative though).
