[Closed] Shimano M9000 XTR rear D service - can I do it?

My rear D is no longer taking up chain tension smoothly - if I shift to a large rear cog, then down to a small one, the rear D will often "stick" and not take up the chain tension. I'm assuming this is solely down to my general lack of proper cleaning and maintenance of my bike after a couple of recent races.

So - as a generally inept mechanic, is cleaning out the clutch and spring mechanisms something I can potentially do, or should I take to a shop? If the former - any recommendations on a _good_ Youtube howto video? There's lots out there - would love a recco on bestest/easiest to follow.
