I'm trying to sort these but they seem unfettlable if that's a word. Having fiddled about after reading the techdocs etc I'm left with 2 issues so all/any help appreciated:
1. The reservoirs weep oil at the handlebars when the brake's applied. Both are now doing it like tiny hugely annoying mineral oil tears - it's making me cry with bloomin frustration - are they just crap or am I ham fisted/stupid? There's no washer/seal as such beyond screwing the top on and making sure the diaphragm is seated ok. Yet it leaks until there's barely anythign left in the reservoir - not fun when the techdoc says to fill it to the top when putting the top back on to keep any air out - what am I doing wrong?
2. The rear pads appear to be rubbing but only audibly when I get to about 15mph and then they make a scraping metallic sound, almost like a vibration. Without caliper attached there's no noise so it's definitely brake related. Pads have lots of life left and pistons are well back as they should be. No sound when the wheel is spun without me on it and there's a clear gap between one pad and the rotor - less so on the other side but that seems to be the set up. Any helpful clues anyone can offer before I give up and take it to my LBS?
