Anyone know where I can get these? Apparently they are replaceable in shimano hubs so when pitted doesn't require a new hub, madison part number or accurate description (nothing came up when I searched for hub bearing cup)
You can't get them as a spare part, you need to buy a hub to take them out of.
Yeah, what he said. If you are nice to me I can try and remember to knock them out of any trashed wheels and send you one.
None around just now though.
Might be worth sticking a wanted advert on here? I know folk buy complete hubs as it tends to be cheaper than buying axles or freehub bodies. There must be a pile of unwanted hub shells somewhere.
What hub is it?
Shimano do complete spares in manual form and on the Shimano website
your local bike shop should have a big silver book - I've still got mine from back in the day (1994 to 1997)
looking at my book though the only thing that isn't numbered individually is the Hub body
Fin - they don't sell or list these parts separately.
Shame - buy a new hub from *AHEM* 🙂
The singletrack cognicenti can't be wrong s this probably isn't what you were looking for;

Nope, they are not the parts he is looking for. When I say you can't buy the cups as a spare I have a pretty good idea of what I am talking about. Mark @ Madison 😉
@Madison? Any chance of responding to an email I sent 2 years ago about the warranty on my Genesis iO?
Its out of warranty now.
LOL
If you look up the hub here you will find the part number and then find another hub with same part number and tap em out.
last time I did one I used an Alivo to fix my XT hub. Same bits inside
