Ah no 🙁
In rebuilding a particular bike of ours, I seem to have mislaid the 'top hat' compression fitting that threads into the shifter. These resemble regular Shimano hydraulic compression fittings but have an additional flat, wide ring at the base. I think that's there to prevent it being overtightened, but I'm not sure.
Would anyone know if replacements or alternatives are available?
Pretty sure those are available.
Part 15 Y8RD02000 Flange flare nut (M9/black)

Thanks 🙂 my google-fu couldn't find that. Appreciated.
Best place to start is the exploded diagrams that Shimano supply. Normally linked from the product page or they have a tech site with search. But yeah not an obvious name!
Awesome, many thanks.
and if you get the part number ... sjs cycles always seem to have stock of the most obscure stuff 😉
in fact £5.99 and in stock 🙂 🙂
That's where I went!
Are they not on your hose? Found out to my cost that they don't come with new levers.
