You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I know supply chains in generally are messed up and the cycling industry has not escaped the issue.
Been following the availability of bikes with the above groupset and ETAs just keeping getting pushed out.
Canyon for example have delayed availability of their DI2 gravel bikes from Autumn 2021 to Spring 2022.
Anybody have any insight as to what's specifically happening with GRX Di2?
Are Shimano going to re-supply in its current guise or are they waiting to supply an upgraded version with the partial wireless update just released for the road groupsets?
Mine field.... I was trying to piece some together and you'd find it all with the exception of say the left shifter. I ended up going for a SRAM AXS Rival/GX 1x in the end as I managed to find the shifters/brakes in stock with a discount code.
bumping for the evening crowd.
Any industry insiders back from work able to shed any light?
39th of Julember I think.
I’ll guess 2023
Just been in email conversation with one of the bike suppliers on my shortlist and they are also saying Spring 2022 for next availability.
Patience is a virtue they say.....................
Even pre-COVID availability of GRX Di2 2x was rubbish. Delivery of my Gradient slipped from August 2019 to November, down purely to delays in getting the GRX bits. Reilly were finding the same as @ogden - you could get bits of the groupset, but never all of of it.
My colleague just bought levers from Spain*, rear mech from Madison. Already has the rest as he's converting from mechanical. So stock is out there just not from the official UK importer of Shimano.
*Just checked, now out of stock.
Oh and 12sp by 2024 MY, so 2023, don't ask me how I know
Yeah but I am looking at a complete bike purchase so Ill just have to wait.
And its a Gradient T47 I’m after.
