Pretty sure my dimensions add up, but just to check in case there's something I'm missing...

I have a Mavic crossride disc hub from around 2006-ish, it has a 2mm spacer and was used with a Shimano 8 speed cassette.

Can I use a 10 speed cassette on this?

Excellent, do I need to change or omit the spacer or anything?

yes - assuming it takes 9 speed whihc is why you need the spacer - not that i have tried with that wheel set

dont use the spacer - you would realise this when it does not fit though!

Thinking of building some cross wheels, I have either 32 hole rims or 24 hole hubs to base from...
