I love my DX pedals but 10 years of abuse have resulted in significant play and the centre of a creaky ride!!
What’s worthy replacement. The standard trail shimanos?
I like the platform for when I s**T myself and have to restart on something steep.
I think the saint pedals are better than DX. The pins mean more grip when you aren’t clipped in and the height of the clip makes it easier to get clipped in.
+1 for Saint pedals. I loved my DXs, but the platform on the Saints is perfect for my large, wide feet and they're very hard wearing. Recommended.
Nukeproof Horizons 👍
I’d give another vote for Nukeproof Horizons. If you’re talking about the red DX pedals from ages ago the Horizons are a good step on - much more grip when not clipped in.
