I have some old Saint (M800) brakes and need to replace the rear hose, they are a banjo fitment and i think the newer hoses are thinner ID. The correct hose kit to use is shimano BH80 but being this old i cant find the kit anywhere. Im a bit lost now, can anyone recomment a hose with a banjo that will fit the caliper and have the correcr internal diameter, thanks in advance..
I had the same brakes back in the day (in fact they're still in a cupboard somewhere), and I had upgraded the hoses to a goodridge kit. It might be they still sell the compatible hose, if not drop me a PM I can probably sell you the whole lot as spares (they were working when they came off the bike, but that was 8 or so years ago.)
Superstar have them if all else fails. Just checked and kit 2 is the hose end kit you need (alloy is in stock in some colours) and any hose from what I can see.
